Default Best deals for new S2000?

I am looking into getting a new s2000. But with how the times are I really want to make sure I am getting the best deal possible. What kind of deals are you guys/gals seeing out there for 2008/09, base/CR s2000's out there?

Hey Joey...there was someone posting that they saw a CR advertised for $10k below MSRP. That may be an extreme situation though.

Saw a 2008 CR(yellow, i think) w/4k miles for 25k(listed in craigslist for weeks), but after it was announced that the "S" would be discontinued it mysteriously disappeared, probably either sold or the dealer holding off to reprice the "S" higher.

listing from an Asbury Park, NJ used car dealer.

S is killed, and now the prices will go up, no doubt.

I just saw a listing for a new 2008 NFR leftover in the Dallas, TX(www.rustywallishonda.com) area for $27,863 so I do not think they are spiking yet.

If you don't HAVE to have a new one this is a heck of a deal for a very low mileage 2007 GPW (came across it when I was looking for new prices)

I highly doubt that S2000 prices will spike up anytime. If there is any small increase in the coming months it will be because of seasonal reasons. The only effect I think the production halt will have on remaining S2000 prices is that they will depreciate slower because the market is no longer being pumped with new S2000s every year.

A friend and Honda employee told me they have a black base CR that they are selling for $3k under invoice, thats $27k for a new CR no haggling. He also told me if I was serious and wanted to haggle a bit, I could probably get it for $25k. Unbelievable if you ask me.

you guys telling me that dealers are not going to try an jack up prices. Sure, it doesn't mean people are going to pay what they are asking.

check out this 2008 used cr for sale just REDUCED $42,000.

check out autotrader, prices firming up IMO.
