Either go to the tracks or to the Phillipinnes. Been there once, awesome twisties and very scenic as well. I know, not in the States, but oh well!!! Push your car over there!

CA Coast Hwy. 1 is outstanding (scenerey), but there are ALOT of other sweet twisties throughout the U.S. that are alot less travelled and allow you to open up the S2000 and let it sing. Just pull out a map and let it roll. That's what I do.

Here's a good one, it's a ~30 mile 2 lane road that goes from 101 into Carmel Valley. Lots of twisty stuff, not much traffic, very scenic, lots of elevation change. Take Highway 1 back down the coast through Big Sur.

Monterey peninsula favorites:

Tuck Box restaurant
Sundial Lodge
Carmel Beach
Stillwater Cove
17 mile drive
Golf at Pebble Beach
The Lodge at Pebble Beach
Monterey Bay Aquarium

It would be a pain to get your S there, but if you get your car to Maui, Hawaii you would have a blast. Maui's Road to Hana is a 52 mile trip between Kahalui (spelling?) and Hana that goes over 50 bridges, many one lane, right by waterfalls, by sheer cliffs and has over 600 curves while carving through very breathtaking scenery. I can't forget the road to the summit of Haleakala also on Maui. This road holds the record for the highest climb in the shortest distance, going from sea level to just over 10,000 feet in 38 miles. This road has plenty of hairpins and swithbacks. After that you could cruise it down historic Front street in Lahaina and take a trip around the northwestern tip of Maui that has another windy road along cliffs although it is not as beautiful as the road to Hana. I have driven each of these roads four times but not in anything "sporty", all rental cars (2 Jeep Wranglers, 1 Chrysler LHS and 1 Chrysler PT Cruiser) . It was still awesome though.

Took the road to Hana last summer and both the wife and I both thought we would never take the S2K on it because of the blind turns and majorly slow speeds you have to do to be safe. The last 23 miles or so is a one lane- not both ways, just ONE lane- and if you are going over 25 MPH you are a danger to others and yourself. Plus as you go past Hana and continue around the West side f the island, alot of the road is not paved. It's your car, do what you want, but i would never, and I meam NEVER take my S2K there and I loved Maui!!!

The coast highway of Highway 1 is definitely a Hall of Fame drive, an e-ticket ride. Driven it many times and it never gets old.

I would like to take a drive down to Monument Valley in Arizona. Not a "twistie" drive, but I think just being in that desert energy in that valley, with it's culture and history, would be awesome.
