I've been using Mobil 1 for years and satisfied with them, but it's kinda hard to get it in my area now. So what are other good engine oil out there? suggestions?

What's wrong with Castrol? I've been using it in my other Hondas (4) for years and they have all been trouble free. All the Honda dealers around here use and recommend it. btw, I think redline is made here in my hometown...nothing against it. Just wondering. Also, I use redline waterwetter in my Kawasaki Ninja.

ok, it was a typo, but you didn't have to be so blatant about it

why not CASTROL? wasn't there a discussion a while ago on that Motortrend report stating how Castrol is switching their synthetic formula to cheaper material and it wasn't a true synthetic oil anymore?

my family have used castrol for the past 15 years, but mobile 1 is IMO better. never tried redline, but i'm thinking about trying it out on the next oil change.

I used Castrol Syntec for about 10 years until about 1 year ago when I also read reports that Castrol had gotten cheap and wasan't a true synthetic oil anymore . So after researching a bit I swithched to Mobil 1 and have been happy with it so far. Its also easy to get in my area.

has anyone ever tried those SUPER EXPENSIVE synthetic oil from japan's tuners? like HKS, Blitz, and some other companies all have their own oil in little neat packaged tin cans (maybe that's why it's so expensive).

It seems everyone has different preference on different engine oil. On the other thread, 2x6speed claims that his S2000 runs quicker using Castrol than Mobil 1. I'm confused.
