I have ordered the Spugen single after doing a lot of research.

The first question you have to ask yourself is how much are you willing to spend? Titanium is very expensive, but very light. General opinion seems to be that the Amuse single Ti makes the most power of a complete system. I have not seen dyno results from a cat-back pipe with no silencer.

If you are going to make something, be sure the pipe is mandrel bent. Muffler shop pipe benders are typically not mandrel machines.

From what I have read in this post, I will just keep my stock exhaust. That is one thing I love about the forum. Going back and reading opinions, comments and thoughts of what others have experienced. The way I see it, to spend at least $500 for a different sounding exhaust isn't worth it me, but it might be for others. I want to spend money on rims and suspension. I know the suspension won't do too much, but it will kill the fender gap when I get a set of better rims.

I would vote on the Mugen as being the best street exhaust, the mugen tone will not drone or boom and you'll have the dual cannisters.

I ordered the Spugen Dual as it is very quiet and no drone at hiway speeds but gives more power across the band than the Mugen at a lot less money! I would however, opt for the Mugen header above all others when the time comes. Phil

Me too. For the price, you can't beat it. Even if I don't like it, for less than $400 I'll put up with it for a while and then sell it. I don't think this will be a problem though. I hear nothing but good feedback about these exhausts and the service that you get from Duc.

I'd say mugen, and if you want to spend a *little* more (since mugen already way up there) I'd go amuse Ti. Check out King Motorsports, they have a dyno of the mugen ( it includes the mugen header, for NA I the the mugen header and exhaust combo is the way to go). If you want to stay on the sane side, check out the spugen offerings in header and exhaust, very cool and not expensive like the Japanese stuff. Of course you could get some Top Fuel mufflers to be cool.

I'm leaning toward going all motor on my car, and the mugen header/exhaust looks like my personal choice, good mid, decent top end gains.

It's beef noodles! My race skillz are a little rusty from years of BMW driving. (if you can imagine that.) But thanks anyway. I'm trying to get back in the swing. If I'd planned it out, I would've chosen beefnoodlez for my nik, but I've got friends that call me wicky, not beefnoodlez. You can stop pretending to laugh now.....

As for the avatar changing. Just hit the start button and go to edit options, at the bottom you can change your avatar. On the bottom of the avatar page you can specify a custom avatar.

By the by, I think if one were to install that Ultimate Racing turbo kit they might be grinding some road kill. Hmmmm.... maybe I'll try that out. It'd go real nice with a dual amuse Ti..... And I'd have a reason to have a beef noodles avatar.....
