Best internet service for getting quotes on 05?
I am near certain about buying an S2000 by the end of Feb. I hate the whole car dealership experience and really want to get a decent quote over the internet with no hassle. I have gotten one so far at $31500, but it is about $1000 more than I am willing to pay. Ideally, I'd like to get it for $30000 or less.
What is the best service for requesting quotes on the car? Autobytel? Cars.com?
Basically, I'd prefer to buy from a dealer within a 100 mile radius. I am in Northern VA.
Thanks.

I didn't have much luck in terms of speedy responses when I recently bought mine. Instead, on a whim, I went back to the dealer that is near my house, told him the price I was willing to pay and wouldn't budge. My logic was that dealer was the first place I visited, but I'd be happy to do some shopping. If they agreed, it was a sale for them, and if not, oh well. The only other stipulation was they had to get the color I wanted and it had to be low miles. It took thirty minutes, but by the time given the dealership was dead, I think they were happy to make the sale that night.
It was about a week after I sent out my emails (and got the car) that I started to get responses. It was weird, nearly all came back on the same day. It is as if the web-sales folks are all trained to only check their emails but once a week.
