Aside from the driving schools, also consider autocrosses. It humbles many who think they are good drivers...

Guys, ya just gotta practice keeping the foot on the accelerator when the back end goes out. I practice it every time I come to the intersection at the bottom of my road. It has a light and I always have to make either a left 90 degree or right 90 degree turn.

Just into the turn, I alway goose it to make the back end go out to see if I can keep in under control, correcting with gentle steer into the skid and keeping the gas constant. (I only do this if there are no other cars making the turn. Don't want to lose it with other cars around).

The practice paid off the other day when I blew by this jerk trying to keep me from passing him on a passing lane going up a hill. Just as I got by him, the road turned to the right and crested at the same time. My speed must have been a little too fast and the back end got loose. The steer into the skid and constant pressure on the gas while thinking I was about to make a fool of myself in front of this jerk worked perfectly, even at 60mph. The car corrected beautifully and I continued on down the road. I only wish I could have seen the guys face when I lost it and then got it back again. Oh well.

Ya gotta love this car!!!

I gotta agree that driving schools are the best investment you can make. The car takes a lot of skill to get the most out of.
