Before the 2002 model I would go 4-6 months without seeing another S 2000. Now with the increase in popularity and the choice for a great roadster, I see them at least bi-weekly.

I will always wave to another one, as it seems to be a friendly gesture. Even tonight I saw a 2000 Silverstone from an upstairs bar.

The S 2000 brings attention to itself, and it seems owners notice the car in a distance to bring attention that two great built automobiles are passing close or in a distance.

It seems to be the feeling of looking at something else, and saying, I've been there and I am doing it now...

Have Fun,
axcilla

The best greeting by far is the shaka sign:

I'll toss the peace sign. Basically the same as the V, but never got that until now.

I would've voted for the "thumbs up" if that were a category. I rode motorcycles for 20 years, and I got used to doing it.
I still view the V sign as a peace sign; (which isn't all that bad. The world could use more of it.)

I do a simple 5-second thumbs up with my arm hanging out the window. Sometimes it gets acknowledged. Sometimes it doesn't, and my S2000 comrade still looks straight ahead, but I never sweat the small stuff.
