$600 sounds steep for the install. I was quoted around $300 although I haven't done it yet. I guess it's a pretty decent project having to mesh all the gears and drop the tranny.

yeah i did shave my head about a week ago. i think everyone should go out and do it, i've noticed acceleration is much faster with the top down now. it was a pretty cheap weight reduction mod as well, only took me 30 mins in my bathroom with an electric razor and i did it myself.

but on another note, did anyone see the s2k on the discovery channel last night? my friend got to see it, i didn't however. said they had an 02 spa yellow s2k featured. they had some ladies in it doing burnouts/drifts/donuts on there as well.

 

for the gears, I have seen up to $1600 for them installed, but that is a bit steep... I am saving for them now . I know they are made by Richmond, but I thought they went outta production.....Rick's I dont think has anymore. If not the 4.57's I will get the Mazda 4.77's. I have heard Wisconsin's audio on the whine...not bad, is there any whine with the 4.77's? Is a re-inforced differential recommended?
