Best Option for Scraped Bumper
If you've read my other thread, you'll know I'm buying a nearly immaculate 2004 Rio Yellow Pearl S2k.
The only issue is that the front bumper has some scrapes at the bottom. It looks like the OEM lip kit would cover it, as seen below.

They seem to cost about $350 from the dealer. Are there options to get one cheaper? Or maybe a CF lip? Are there other options that I should be considering?
And I wouldn't plan on adding other body pieces... would it look OK with just the addition of the lip?
I wonder how much it'd cost just to fix the scratched portion. They'd probably respray the entire bumper, right? With the likelihood that it wouldn't be perfect, I'd probably rather just stick with the scrapes (they're pretty small).
Opinions? Advice?
Thanks!!

That splitter that you linked looks awesome. Too bad I think that the scratches will still show. Maybe not, or maybe since they'd be against the black, they won't be noticeable or as noticeable. I'll have to look again when it's in my possession.
What's the APR front splitter look like? Will these options look OK without any other body modifications?
I like the fact that the splitter you linked doesn't make the car lose any additional ground clearance.

Get an OEM AP2 lip, $350 isn't a big deal. Or you can try to find one used here on the forums in the for sale section. My front lip is beat up from scratching on things but I've gotten used it. A repaint of the bumper will cost you $350+ so might as well add a little pizazz to it as well!
Oh and just having the OEM lip on the front looks fine. Most people don't have the side strakes or the rear spoiler.

I used to have a coastal metals splitter...the OEM chin or the Mugen AP2 splitter are better options. The coastal metals splitter catches dirt/sand/gunk between it and the bumper making it hard to clean. I would remove the splitter once a month to clean properly.
