Default Best Residual Value

Forgive if this has been posted before, but the S2K ranks number one in Edmunds Top 10 recently updated list of cars with the best residual value. They estimate that an 06 S2K will retain 51.7% of its value five years after purchase.

If I'm not mistaken, when I first bought my car the s2k had a residual of 63% in 2000. Minis and BMWs were always high on the list!

Indeed. The Acura TSX, I think is even better. The 04's are still being sold at $20-22k.

I was under the impression there was some kind of "ban" on posting links to lists?

There's a nice 2001 NFR here with 17k on the clock. Lady's selling it for $22.5k when KBB says it's should be $17.5k. How can I ever get into an S with this?

new leases on '06 have residual at 55% of MSRP. '03's are currently selling at 65% - 75% of MSRP. The cars are holding value well.
