Default Best s2000 header

What header would be the best for the S2000?
Feels, Mugen, Spoon, Dc sport or HKS? Any one can recommend
the best header.

If you want a header that gives you added power throughout the power range go with Mugen. If you're looking for the header which gives you more peak power (but sacrifices power lower down) I think Spoon is the way to go.

Mugen for me, when I can scrape the change

Most of the dyno test you see are ran tuned exhaust (header and exhaust together) against stock. Not just header changed out.

So the Spoon, Mugen, HKS and alike really need to be paired with their respective exhaust sytems. If you mix and match them, the gains will be much less significant. But then that ole $$/hp gained gets to be pretty high.

I wouldn't say sacrifice power down below for the Spoon (you're not losing power per se), but smccurry is right about peak power for the Spoon header, it kicks ass from 7-9K, but there're also additional power down below. mid range power wise, Mugen is king, no doubt in my mind. also, if you want to get spoon header, i highly suggest an FPR. If your goal in mods is to pull away in VTEC from other NA S2Ks, Spoon would be a good bet. If you want to feel more pull in normal, everyday traffic, get the Mugen. If you just want an economical alternative, get the DC header. That's my take on it.

I'd be interested to see what my car's pulling now I've gotten the FPR...

id say mugen, so later you can opt for the exhuast too then you'll see the power increases.

Mugen.

XRMD, aftermarket equipment will only void a warranty if the aftermarket part directly causes the failure. If you install an exhaust, and your O2 sensor goes, then they may not cover the sensor or the labor to install it. On the other hand, if your alternator goes or something like that, the warranty would not be effected. Other than the O2 sensor, I can't think of anything that could be voided by an exhaust and/or header.

For more information, check with the gurus www.kingmotorsports.com for more information or to place your order. You will have no regrets.
