Laguna Blue is the best color, no question about it. I wish paint jobs weren't so expensive--I've had no luck finding a Laguna Blue car anywhere near the condition of mine.

I 100% agree. I couldn't find a Laguna Blue within 400 miles, and a GPW within 300 miles (first and second choices in 06), so I stuck with yellow (traded in my Spa 01). The few times I've seen a Laguna, I've wished I had traveled the distance and gotten one. I am pretty objective and impartial, so IMO Laguna is #1. GPW is a very very close #2, especially with the tan interior, and Rio Yellow and Red are tied for third. Sebring Silver Metallic is a close fourth, and BB rounds out my top 5.

I based preferring the tan interior over black/red on GPW based on never seeing it before when I purchased my 06. I never liked the all red interior with GPW or any color. For some reason that turned me off. Either or, and even with black interior would have worked for me. I remember almost pulling the trigger on an 05 GPW with tan, but I forced myself to pay off my 01 first. By 06, the tan was gone, but I still couldn't find one close enough. I'm annoyed now looking at the production numbers in colors. The fact that there were almost twice as many Lagunas produced in 06 then Rio when it came time to trade in, I got screwed, as Rio was all over where I live, and no Lagunas to be found.
Overall, yellow is pretty common considering how many Spa's they produced, but if I go by my year, I'm one of only 464. Sounds good to me, although I don't trust those numbers.

Edit: 1 of 464 06 Rio's in US.
Looking at the chart, I'm wondering who owns the only (1) 2009 GPW with black and yellow trim? You would think that this published fact would go a long way at re-sell time. Funny thing though, I doubt that many buyers would have opted for this combination and even if they did, would have been forced into something else because of the(extreme) limited availability.
Hell, there's only 355 09 models period, and if I counted correctly, only 31 total 09 CR models in the US!! That alone will make it the most valuable MY, so whoever has that ONE GPW CR without a/c and radio, slap that in your living room, hide it from society, and wait 20 years!!
