Best s2k color
Silverstone without question, it looks like a luxury car when u need it to be one, like a sport car as well when u go to a sport event or something and it hides the dust when its dirty, sometimes when the weather ain't too good I just clean my black hood, windows and tires and put some black magic on them and I'm good to go, u can't tell the car its dirty, if u can do all that with any other color let me know, in the meantime Silverstone takes the lead...
When I bought my new 08 NFR in Nov 09, the dealer also had a new 08 Laguna Blue in the showroom which I really liked as well but I chose the NFR as I figured that it really stood out and was so "not me" 9my DD is an Odyssey). I had the paint corrected to remove all the dealer-induced paint swirls and it will now blind you in the sun. The Laguna sat in that showroom for another month or so until a guy on these forums flew in from Texas and bought it. I have questioned myself a few times about the color choice that I made but with the car being so small and with all the knuckleheads drivers in SoCal, I figure the brighter color is a little safer. Plus, it gets a lot of looks.
I'd mind. Black is the one color I wouldn't have. Too hot, takes a beating in the sun, exaggerates even the most minor of imperfections to the point that it looks like someone polished the car with a rake. No thanks to that noise.
I love my Rio more and more each time I drive it. It looks clean even when it's dirty, makes the S look even more racy/sporty than it already is, and you hardly ever see another on the road (I'd love to know how many were produced). Not to mention it's the color of my alma mater, I'm actually starting to like the attention/looks it gets, and it highlights the curves of the car really well.
I also really liked the Laguna when I was looking at them. If Moonrock was offered in the US, it would be high on my list too.
