Just wondering if anyone else went through this during their anticipation of getting a new s2000. All i can think about is getting this car.. its all i talk about.. i've throughly annoyed my co-workers with s2000 stats and propagranda. i have 7months to go till i actually get it. Seems like forever. Does this obsession eventually fade after you get the car?

guess part of it is i'm stepping up from a '95 honda civic dx that is starting to fall apart.

insomniak, we're both on the same boat. i have a long wait as well. i'm not quite as enhusiastic as you, but i am definitely thinking a lot about taking delivery.

what could we do to pass the time, man? all these other people already have theirs.

Hmmm. Well have a look at this site and you tell me if it ends. Sorry, the S2000 is a disease for which there is no cure

Insomiak: My color decision deadline looms around February 2001. I'm probably going to go with black/black or black/red.

To pass the time, I've just been going to dealers and test driving different cars in my budget.

Getting your S2000 is no cure for that disease. Once it's in your garage, you'll find yourself taking 100 mile trips for some milk, buying all of Rick Hessel's Signature series leather goodies, getting involved in group buys for cross braces, hanging around Comptech's site looking at their bolt-on supercharger, never taking it to any car wash again, but instead, turning your garage into what looks like a Mother's detailer products retail section, hanging out on this board instead of making a living, smiling like Benny from LA Law doing Stevie Wonder head moves while driving around, driving around puddles ... it just goes on and on.
