Just want to finally say hello to everyone now that i finally got my s2k. actually i was looking at a few different cars in the beginning but after tons of research(the best part) and from reading parts of this site, i was convinced that it was the car for me and ordered it on last sat and picked it up last nite. this site is the best with all the 411 i was able to collect, in fact, just today i met another member "shaner" in the parking lot by fluke and we just started talking away after he spotted my new ride...

Also i want to give a shout to "mingster" to whom i also got to talk with on the phone yesterday abt kits...he's seemed really straight foward from my experiences dealing with other mod places.....

lastly as i was coming home from work tonite, i didnt notice, but my girl said guy in a white 2000 high beams me....wierd its like all of a sudden im like part of a family...not even my clk gets this much attention..

anyways,i got 18" racing harts on the way along with bilstein coil overs and when i can get my hands on the kit, i'll post pics when its all finito.

 

It only took a week for you to get yours? I have to wait until April. bummer! what color did you pick up?

 

ok here's the deal, on monday of last week contacted autobytel.com and the next day i got a call from the dealership. right away i told him i didnt want to pay msrp so if he was going to sell it at that then don't even bother. i got the car for 31300 with little haggling but they didnt have it in stock. luckily they already had one due friday of that same week(which actually arrived on monday) and i picked it up last nite in SPA YELLOW, the best color IMO for 2002.

BTW shaner if you see this, i just checked out yr mods and all i have to say is SWEET navi!

 

congrats dude, and I must agree with the following statement you made, but with one exception It is the best color for ALL model years

Oh and congrats on the car ma friend you will enjoy, thats not the question, the question is when...monday here in kentucky it was beautiful, high 60s, then on tuesday, a blizzard in the morning and its been below freezing ever since...what a tease welcome to the board.
