I like the two-tone seats and the interior looks OK.
Rims just kinda don't do it for me...
Front...it's not bad.
8000 RPM...just sucks donkey balls
Headlight and taillights...looks tacky to me.

Glad I still have my 2001...with plenty of torque and hp to keep me happy for a while.

This car should make everybody happy.

If you gotta have 9000 rpms there are still plenty of 2003's going around, and if you want a nice change, go for the 2004.

The way I look at it is follows.

Suppose 2004 was the first year for the S2000.

And suppose that the early reports claimed this new car would outperform Porsches, BMW's, Nissan's, and Mazdas, plus just about all of its other peers.

And suppose you were told that it would rev to 8000 rpm, handle fabulously, and stop on a dime.

And then suppose I told you that it would be cheaper than all those cars mentioned above.

Assuming you even took these reports seriously, would everybody be happy then?

I guess it's that half-full, half-empty thing.

Pretty good point. I think I would probably go with it then.
BUT...since there does exist a cleaner more refined (to me of course) version, I choose a pre-2004 year. it's not bad, but I just like the way it looks now. I honestly think it is done so well.

Front bumber kinda looks like a body kit. Slap a lip on that and ill take one for my 00'. I the interior now comes riced out directly from honda. J/K but i think its a little to over the top for my tastes. Im stickin with what i got. Oh BTW will the bumpers be interchngeable I know the lights were redone but the look to be hte same general shape. Just my $0.02

Can anyone tell if the audio controls were moved onto the steering wheel?

I pondered over whether or not to go with an '04 and decided to order some Le28n Volk's and keep my '02. The '04 looks perfectly acceptable and I wouldn't hesitate to buy one if I was in the market.
