Can hardly wait to see dbw1's finished setup, in particular the radical rear rotors he's using!

After seeing the projected approximate price for dwb1's kit, I'm very interested in a wilwood kit for less than $1000. dwb1's kit, while impressive, is WAY out of my price range.

I need something to fit under the stock rims though.

Very good find. I would be interested in it also. If I have the money, I would have go AP Racing. The caliper they have are aluminum. The one that I have on my BMW is 4 piston with aluminum hats. It is already lighter than my stock brakes. It brake repeatly without any fade. And, the brake pads are cheap. $80 per pair for PF-90. The reason? Most of race team uses them, so they are heck a lot cheaper.

Just a thought!

Besides, I think a GB Wilwood kit will cost under $900 for new calipers, rotor and hub.

Brian at Fastbrakes could put a kit together a kit for us if we showed interest. I have two of his kits and they work very well and the price is right. Checkout what he currently offers at www.fastbrakes.com. I`m sure the price would be well under 1k w/ Wilwoods.

I'm very interested.

Something less than $1000 won't break the bank either...just as long as it's better than the stock brakes and fits the stock wheels, I'm game.

Larger rotors, Wilwood Calipers, bolts up, and fits under the stockers. Just spoke w/ him and he`s working on a kits for the front and rear.

Sweet. I got a few possible dates with Laguna Seca in november and december and last time I was there I cooked my R-4 pads, and that was my very first track event ever.
