Big thumbs up for this dealership
I finally picked my S up this Saturday after a long wait. What a car. I have already put 500 miles on it crusing back roads around St Louis and then bringing it home to Memphis. All the things that you guys have said about being noticed is completely true. I got more waves and thumbs up in the last couple of days than I can believe. I I even had a two Viper escort for a few miles on 55 on the way home. They just waved and smiled (they knew I didn't have anything for them). I had to laugh at the white Viper, he had a glamour plate that read "byby C5". But I am off the subject here.
I want to give a big thumbs up to sales man Bill Nelson and Technician Grant Evans at St. Louis Honda. I have read a lot of rants against the ineptitude at many dealerships, and I am happy to get to deliver a rave. These guys no thier s**t about the S2000. They showed me where everything was on the car (yes even the dip stick and fuel door release). They treated me with the respect a customer deserves. When they told me they were going to do something, they delivered. Last but not least, they sold me a car at MSRP back when everyone else was trying to rape an extra 5K out of me and telling me lies about this being the last year for the s2k (I purchased in November and asked for March/April delivery). I would highly recommend Bill to anyone who wants to buy an s2k or any Honda for that matter.
I also want to give credit to this forum. What a great resource this is. I already knew where everything on the car was before they told me. I have been reading this forum since November.
