Have to agree with j c a about the jet ski. I easily towed a 3-seat 1100 cc jet ski with my '97 Prelude, but the boat ramps were scary - the bumper and exhaust were submerged on a regular basis. You can unattach your trailer and chain it to the hitch to extend the length, but this is a pita.

I have a hitch on the S from Dalan (bought at U-haul) and it works great, though it cannot be easily removed. It is quite stealthy with a little rubber insert. I picked up a new 2-bike fork mount Hollywood rack (like a roof rack) off ebay for $75 and it is solid as a rock. Highly recommend. I'd post pictures if my darn digital camera was working.

When I first got my S2000 I looked for a quality rack for it. They are available for the Miata and BMWZ3 but I have yet to find one for the S2000. I'm talking about stainless steel racks that require drilling and mount permanently but they also double as luggage holders as well as bike rack. Check out some Z3 sites or Miata and see what I'm talking about.

I shudder just thinking about it.
very good point i have never actualy seen a marina ramp so i didnt know. thanks for your input. i guess ill have to re think things.
