I had a B&B on my M3 and it had a really clean, hard sound to it. It was also really loud outside the car. Can any of you guys comment on the volume of the B&B relative to the more common aftermarket exhausts?

From the clips on an s2000 that Ive heard, its got a nice deep grumble to it. On a 993 porsche, it sounds like someone keeps blowing up grenades in the mufflers......very mean. Ive never heard it in person.

I've read a lot on this forum about aftermarket exhausts but I don't remember reading about B&B before so I just looked them up. The picture of the exhaust system looks first class (B&B Exhaust) but $1,193.05 seems awfully steep! 
Maybe I just don't have a good grip on what a cat back exhaust normally costs. Is this normal or is it to the high side of things?
