Thumbs up Billy Boat Performance Exhaust

I have been looking at replacing my stock exhaust and have come across the Billy Boat Performance Exhaust. It looks really well made and the sound clip sounds pretty good. I would like to hear from someone that has purchased and installed it before making a decision.

Their website is at http://www.bbexhaust.com/B&BMain.Htm

Thanks

I dunno. 1115 bucks is pricey, and I think one of the biggest things about an S2000 aftermarket exhaust, because HP gains are minimal, is weight savings. This doesnt list a weight I dont think. For that price I think you can get a full titanium exhaust.

I am sorry, but nothing named Billy Boat is going on my car.

Stupid IRL driver.

I was wondering why that name was semi-familiar. Thanks.

You do NOT want this exhaust. It appears to be very well made, looks great, but is very loud and not a pleasant sound. Unless you like LOUD, you want like it. I paid over a thousand , removed it after about 2 weeks, finally sold it for $400.00

WTF???

The pic of the S2000 on their website has a different exhaust, not the BB exhaust advertised below the pic.

The title of the video demonstration is "RM Racing S2000" and that car doesn't have the BB exhaust either!

Sounds more like a "BS" exhaust to me!!

I have the RM racing exhaust which is supposedly pretty much the same thing (somebody from RM I think posted here awhile back and confirmed that). It is fairly loud but I like the way it sounds. It's got a nice deep tone and is about the least ricey-sounding exhaust I've heard for an s2000. And I doubt it's as loud as the Nvidia's that everyone rants and raves about, especially at WOT.

BTW, RM racing used to have a dyno graph (maybe they still do, haven't been there in awhile) for this exhaust and according to that graph this exhaust makes about 8hp to the wheels in a fat part of the midrange, and makes at least some power pretty much everywhere else. Sounds unbelievable when you consider most exhausts for our cars only add like 1-2hp if they don't take some horses away, but I'm just going off the graph they had on their site.

Anyway everybody is going to have a different opinion but personally I'm happy with mine, then again with the price I got it for (fraction of the retail price), I'd be happy with damn near anything.
