Default Birds belong in the sky...

Went for a drive yesterday with the top down while almost freezing outside to stretch the valves The sun was shining, everything was quiet Follow a twisty road at about 80 km/h and suddenly notice one very big bird (like an eagle) sitting on the side of the road. What do you all think it did? Yeah, right, instead of sitting put it got airborne and tried to hit the car

It first hit between the front lights, then surfed over the hood and in the end smashing the windshield. I put my head down because I was thinking... I have no roof and I saw the 'thing' coming right to me

But it's not too bad on the car. I tried to find the flying but I could not see it. It did not get killed I am pretty sure, but it got a concussion at least or a broken leg I suppose. That's how quick a nice drive in the countryside can get spoiled

When I read that, I thought your windshield actually got smashed. Glad to hear you and your car are okay.

Watch out for seagulls, haha.

Luckily, even the windshield seems to be real Honda quality

I hope the bird is OK, but next time he tries the same, I wash him with the light washers, at least he comes clean over the hood

That sucks bad, I feel for you. The other day as I was leaving my neighborhood a huge flock of birds flew over me, several very low. It was fairly intimidating and they seemed to be just your standard pigeon.

It wasn't as funny as the bird that dive bombed my old 4Runner and killed himself smashing into the grill. Had to use a 7-iron to get the little bastard outta there once I got home.

Ha! Your lucky, the STI owners don't call their hoodscoope the "bird catcher" for nothing.
