How true! Never bring anyone whom you don't want to disappoint if the deal falls through. Bring a good friend who is financially savvy and a good negotiator. If you have any lawyer friends, bring one.

Don't forget misc. fees like dealer prep and documentation etc...

This thread reminds me of the lease deal from hell with my girlfriends Jeep Grand Cherokee. Long story short, I had to write letters to Better Business Bureau, Channel 2 News, and Jeep to get them to fix their dirty practices with us. I am sure they continue to screw other people everyday. 
On another note I got my S2000 from MA under MSRP and shipped here to CA. Still saved $1000.
