Thank god, I can't read another thread where mom or dad buys a S2000 for child. I just can't stand it.

Its good to hear, a breath of fresh air, someone who wants a nice car, strives to get it, works hard and (hopefully) will end up buying one. IMO you'll appreciate a nice car 1-billion times more than these kids who get whatever handed to them.

:rant off:

Good luck hope you get one soon.

I'm pulling for you, brother. I know exactly how you feel. I savor driving that car every time I walk out to the garage.

I also savor swinging past 6k into vtec and hearing the banshee wail!!! It may sound silly, but it is a real treat just to simply go drive the car.

Get one; you sound like you have put in your time and will really enjoy it. I can say it is the finest car I've owned to date.

Haha.. I can only stand it when they are grateful that mom and dad got them it and are humble, but how rare is that?

I've worked my entire life, since I was 16.. working my way through different cars and trying to make ends meet. I finally realized that wasn't worth it because you enjoy the car, but can't enjoy anything else.

I currently drive a beat down Civic, 93 VX.. and it's hell, but the hell that contains me now shall be upgraded and I'll appreciate it that much more.

Thanks for the kind words!

I'm sure I'll enjoy it thoroughly once I get my butt in the seat!

I just hope they keep the S2000 line running for a little while longer... so I can have an opportunity to buy one when I can actually afford one. My fingers are crossed.
