o ya... there were some mustangs that couldn't hook up at all... one guy with a good sounding/looking GT ran a 15.8 and a 15.9 due to spinning. slightly tweaked prelude ran a 16.0+....guy on a street bike ran a 9.8X @ 145+

'01 corvette Z06 ran a 12.97@110ish

This is the same track that my Typhoon ran 13.9XX 2 times in a row.

I nominate Scot for least descriptive subject, ever.

Hey Scot, maybe it's time for you to pay a visit to Canada to see Master "Launching" Sev... He might be able to help you get it under 14.

I have no idea how Sev or (anyone) can get under 2.0 for 60', but.. different tracks have different surfaces too. In hindsight, i could have dropped my airpressure to 20psi and maybe gone for the same 6500rpm launch.?

O well... the car is pretty decent for a car not really meant for drag racing.

Scot if this was anybody else's thread, I think I would have passed it up with Blaaaaaaaaa as the subject.

14.3 isn't bad man, and the fact that you hit 100 is good, just try different launch techniques next time. I'd be happy with those numbers.

Hey Scot, don't you think 20psi is a little bit low for your tires? But you are right though, different surfaces might have different results.

Scott, just to let u know that if you were to drop your air pressure you would do a lot better. I was dropped at 19 and launching at 6500. Make sure you shift around 7-8 though, that way when you shift in V-tech range all the time
