I have the Coastal Metals 3 piece grill set. It comes with excellent mouting hardware, and uses existing holes. The Grille-Tech is strapped on with zip-ties - yuck.

As far as color.....I got stainless to go on my Silverstone 'cuz I wanted to see them. If you wanna go stealth, go black. If you have clear sidemarkers and/or cleared corners, the stainless might be sweet.

p.s. Coastal Metals sells an "Air Management System" - or something like that - which has you open up the fake side vents and mount the working vent. If you want this option, be sure to ask for the "Air..." kit. Their 3-piece kit will have FAKE grill covers for the sides with double sided tape.

I think it looks GREAT installed and it protects the condensor and radiator.

Enjoy,
Hockey

I have a black S and I've always planned on putting black grills on. I like the dark look.

I've got the black CM grills on my Berlina--it definitely blends better. However now I wish there was a little more "pizzazz" on the front (too much black IMO) so I think I would do stainless if I had to do it all over.

Silver for sure....it will give it a nice contrast (ie with the wheels, exhaust tips etc...)

black... i dont think the silver would look good at all... i think those vents were meant to be black, and silver would draw too much attention to the vents.. jus cut out the side vents so they look like real vents

I picked up the Coastal Metals a couple of years ago in stainless. It tended to take your eyes to the front if looking at the car. I painted it black and it was very dark. I tried flat black and didn't like it. I painted it silver and it looked ok but in the end I just took it off. Too much wind resistance in my opinion I'm in the process of building my own at this point out of a stainless steel alloy wire.
