Default Black Chrome and other badges

I question what sites such as Handa Accessories mean when they describe the Black Chrome emblem set as for the MY00-MY01 only?

Does this mean these emblems will not work on an '02 - bearing in mind that I could give a CRAP if they aren't the same size...

Are there holes under the factory ones? Or some kind of super-mighty glue? Or perhaps an alarm sensor that will alert Homeland Security that I have replaced '02 badges with badges designed for 00-01?

If you could give a crap, it means you somewhat care! I'd stick with your MY badges and not the 00/01 ones. You don't want the internet police coming to your place and stealing them off your car

There are holes underneath the badges and glue around the top and bottom half of the emblem. So they will work just fine.

You can do what I did when I had my civic. When they discontinued the Black Badges for the 99-2000 Si tey nearly impossible to find. A good powdercoat shop made the same black chrome badges for me for less than $35.

They all fit on every year. The only difference is the size.

Are the MY00-01 smaller or larger?
