Hi ReedZ - Rick's badges are nice but they don't speak Honda to me.
Because there are so few of these things on the roads here I want people to realize it is a Honda.
Thanks for the suggestion though.

Are the front/back black chrome emblems the same as factory? (Just "metal" H and nothing else "transparent"?)

The negative space where the body of the car usually shows through the emblem is filled in with a color, in this case black. The badge is a beautiful piece of body jewelry not just a cheap looking silver cutout.
Look above at the link to H and A for a good pic.

The front and back emblems are encased in plastic/polymer. The "H" emblem is dark chrome surrounded with an encased black background.

I love the look of the Honda black chrome badges on my black car.

BTW, Rick's badges are top quality, color matched and look excellent as well!

I've seen the black chrome kits on several cars at the dealership...............they look awesome on red and yellow. I bought the kit for my Spa. Can't wait to install it.

One of the reasons I went with Rick's S badges, is that someone is less likely to steal them. There are a lot of Hondas out there and I considered the black chrome badges, but then anyone with a Honda would be tempted to steal them. Just my $.02.

Black Chrome ... Wow nice! I'm gonna get them now, how come I never seen it at my dealership in Japan when I bought the car? Must've overlooked it ...

This is the first time I've seen the black chrome emblem. It sure looks nice. I wonder if this was an option way back in 99 when I first bouight the car.
