I am saving my pennies for my s2k and I've been monitoring dealership web sites for a MY 04 w/the black/red interior. 1-has anyone seen/bought one, comments, thoughts...
2- does anyone know if the VIN number indicates the interior color? I called AHCustomer Svc. to no avail.

based on this, the vin does not outline anything for the color, I know w/my MDX, for example, it was a model "186" embedded in the VIN, which meant, touring package, nighthawk black, saddle interior. I guess there's nothing like that for the s2k.

 

There are no red/black interiors for the '04 white unless you live in Canada. Best you can do is buy white/tan and switch out the carpet, seats, and door inserts.

I think it got lost in translation.
I noted that my MDX has tan interior, not that I was looking for an s2k w/tan interior (then again, sebring silver or black would probably work w/tan).
anhow, I'm just looking for opinions/owners of the new black/red interior to get feedback. Also, I'm looking to hear if anyone has even seen the color combo at a dealership, I have yet to see it advertised, or in person.

 

I have an '04 Silverstone with the red/black interior. I like the red/black interior more than any other available.

I went out of my way to get this color combination and I couldn't be happier with it.

All my friends are constantly blown away by the way it looks with the red/black leather.

 

i have red/black, but i had the red carpeting replaced with all black prior to delivery of the car.

the red carpeting was too just too red - and the shade of red was, well, ugly....also, it didn't match any other interior red piece.

 

How much did it cost you to change out the carpet? How much time did it take to do this?
