does anyone have this done? Im curious, since the ap1 housing are silver, Ive thought about taking them apart and paint the housing + taking out the diffuser and paint the chrome part black also. (looks a bit more like the 04+) I just dont like how the diffuser looks. Ive seen guys take off the diffuser, but kept the housing chrome, but anyone spray it black??

No...I had black tinted diffusers (I now have supa-dupa JDM clear gold diffusers custom made for my Berlina).

Scrapdog has removed the diffusers, and flat blacked the whole inner housing.

I thought about doing something custom like this someday. Using amber LED's for the turn signals and a 194 amber LED at a right angle for the side marker.
