blown engine news
i have much advice on this one, as i am involved heavily in this very industry.
dude, time is of the essence at this point, do not waste time. you need to do two things, #1 be on the phone with american honda right away. also, #2 even more important, you should get ahold of the biggest big wig you can who owns or is involved with the name behind that dealership. (for instance autonation, or sonic) the company that owns that chain of dealers. so you can explain how you bought a used car from them, ( i hope it was certified) and then it bailed 6 weeks later under normal conditions because their used car guy is a moron. this problem can be solved if you go about it the right way. being a jackass will not help, but being a pushover also will not help. make sure you use tact, and speak with the right people.
instance, we had a car sold here and our used car guy certified it, and said it was tip top. well 2 months later, the fan harness rubbed the fans and shorted, catching fire and buring the car to the ground. state laws were applied and our dealer had to replace the entire car. same scenario as you. you now have a non driveable car because of someones mistake. not yours.
anyways, i wish you luck man, and dont take this out on honda. it has nothing to do with the car. s2k is a bad ass car, and has saved my life. this is why im on my second one. its obvious if the rear main was bad when you bought it, it already had a roached motor anyways. and repo isnt even an option, unless you want a fico score of 320. LOL anyways later man, dave

And if you make 200k per year, what are you doing buying a used S2k from a Chevy dealer?
And why wouldn't you have money to fix the damn engine?
And why would you have car payments at all?
I smell something... and it's kind of funky.
From Camaro SS to Honda S2000 to G35?
With a repossession in the middle?
With a $200,000.00 annual salary?
With only a faint acquaintance with the Strunk and White (not in any way related to Smith and Wesson).
In any case, I advise every S2000 owner to check the oil at every fill-up. If it is written in the Owner's Manual, do it.
