My friends and I call that "Hoo-foo".
Its a multipurpose word that, in this case, means bulls#!t.
How about an old Buick hood ornament?!!

I don't object in principle to modifications like this but I do have to say that the side vents are the worst feature of M3/Z3s. If I owned a BMW I would be looking to have those vents taken out and filled in - frankly, given their ugliness, I am shocked that anyone would contemplate putting them on a vehicle that doesn't already have them.

The question above reminds me to brace for impact. While not necessarilly referencing the individual above, unfortunately, we can expect more types of these questions as the pre-owned value of 00-01 S2000's migrates south, thereby allowing Super Street subscribers to finally get in on the action.
Soon to arrive in a neighborhood near you....a youngin' with a Spa yellow
S2000 with matching wiper blades, Z-gills and neon muffler tips.
Oh the humanity!
I suppose since it's their car they can do whatever they want but it doesn't mean I have to give it a thumbs up. Gills on an S2000? Sure, go for it...hell, even Hitler had a wife.

Bring on the Rice. More super modified messed up S2000's just make my bone stock car more valuable later on. You can't find an unmolested Supra or 300ZX these days but if you do, they are worth alot of $$$.

When that day happens, I hope to be able to migrate to the next level (maybe a 996TT). Unfortunately, I am going in the opposite direction. Maybe an Accord or Civic for my next car.
