Default BMW Rice???

Yesterday, I saw a Z3 3.0 and when it passed me, the license plate read "M Pose". This car was not an M. Was this rice?

Yes, there is an M Roadster. But the body looks a bit wider and the wheels are monsters.

Yes!!!

The proper name is not Z3M, it is M roadster.
A wonderful car I might ad, although I clearly like my S2000 better.

Really? And it looks just like a Z3? Not that ugly version?

Hey OR, the look was that of the first Z3s. After the Z3 had been out a few years the back fenders were restyled to have more of a rise and fall over the rear tire, the M roadster never adopted that slightly different look.

I'm looking for a photo I can post. One of my closest friends has one, it is a blast. I have been around Watkins Glen many times in it. The basic suspension is no where as track ready as the S2000, but the torque is just crazy....lots of fun!!!

I may have driven this car and not even known it (dumbass ). My 325 was delayed coming in and the salesman gave me a brand new red Z3 off the lot to drive...for 3 weeks!! It had M emblems on the steering wheel and the sides. The sticker said 45k. Torque is right! Planted my ass waaayyyy back in the seat. That's when I decided I had to have a roadster which led me to the S2000.

NOTE: the official BMW word is there will not be an M version of the Z4. Although there are many who will disagree, the official BMW word as of today remains, there is no future plan for making an M version of the Z4.

Thank God they are not going to slander the "M name" by putting it on that piece of carved up steel.
