Just picked up the new SuperStreet and it has BodyWerks' S in it. The car is pretty dope, especially since it has a mugen rear bumper w/ a HKS exhaust . The article also picks on GregStevens, saying that he is probably "seething with jealousy." They also say that "the car [was] crashed into a wall the day after it was picked up from the dealer and has the dubious honor of being the first totaled S2000 in the United States."
Around the back of the issue, they show pictures of Import Revolution in Houston and there are two S's there. There is one FUGLY yellow w/ only a partial Veilside kit (side skirts and rear bumper) . While the other looks incredibly like a famous racer that frequents this board. Lucky him, they put the same picture in two different pages. Hmmm. . . red car, black stock rims, supercharged ??

I haven't seen the article yet, but Luder called me about it and Larry told me is was going to happen. A couple of things: It wasn't wrecked the day after I picked it up...it was almost 2 months.

Am I seething with jealousy? Nah, not really. It's well done, but it's not really my style. Nice looking car, just too over the top for me. I prefer how my current car looks with the Mugen spoiler and wheels. Totally badass...

And as far as being the first person to total an S2000 in the US, I don't know this to be 100% true. It was bandied about that I was, but I don't think there was ever conclusive proof. It was a badge of honor that was bestowed upon me...

Here's a shot of how the car looked after I had my way with it into a wall at 45 mph.

Oh boy. I just hope you salvaged it for parts as much as possible...

I hate to dog another S2000 but there is nothing about that car that I like, except for that shiny thing under the hood. I seriously think that car is disgusting. Sorry if this offends anyone...ok, no I'm not.
