The S2000 Book by Daniel F.Carney and published by Motorbooks/Colortech is excellent.A wonderful friend of mine( who loves the car) ordered a copy from Waterstones bookshop in Eastbourne. It arrived within a few days.

I've ordered it via amazon.co.uk, received an email at the weekend to say they were experiencing difficulties obtaining it and likely delivery date of 4-6 weeks. Lets hope not!

Hi Red

I'm in Eastbourne too. I have a friend (in Hailsham) who drives a black. We seem to have a lot of Stooks in Eastbourne. Do you know of any others?

A few weeks back I saw a red down by the seafront - would that have been you?

Jason

Seems to be a typical Amazon line on special order books, tried this on me for two months and then claimed the book wasn't available. When I told them the author said it was still available, one suddenly appeared.

Why don't you "blokes" email Dan and find out for yourselves?:

Hi Nick, The only S2k I have ever seen in Eastbourne was a silver. This was a few weeks back turning into Devonshire Place from the seafront and we acknowledged.I guess that was you!(you would have noted that we were enjoying the sun)I've had mine since 1 September (X3 NJG) and now have 1600 on the clock. We absolutely adore this car. It's our weekend treat...roll on the summer.Weekdays It's the company Rover and weekends in the rain, gales, sleet and salty roads It's a Range Rover. So far I have not had any problems.I did run her in gently and keep an eye on the oil level.Have you got the book yet and what's the weather forecast for the weekend?-Nigel.

Hi Nigel

Yes it was me in the silver. The roof was up 'cos my wife was in the car and she is not quite as insane as me.

My car is now just over a year old and has nearly 5000 on the clock - going in for it's first service tomorrow. Did you get your car from Collins?

I love my car but do think that I suffer from the 2nd gear grind problem. As yet Collins have not accepted this.

I have two other cars but still use my Stook as a daily driver because I can't stand not using it.

Hope to see you again soon.

Nick
