My dealer called today to say that my 2002 arrived this morning. My wife and I ordered a Black with red interior.
Well, no one told us that the red interior, as of 2002, is ALL RED.
Yep, dash, doors, all. BTW I found this out this morning on this forum.
When we found this out we where quite upset. Called the dealer and he looked at the car and confirmed this.
Good news.
He gave us a choice of silver with black or our order. We had put a non-refundable deposit down and he was even willing to refund this under the circumstances.
After looking both cars over for an hour or so we decided that we actually liked the black with all red. It looks rather classy, I thought it would look cheap. I will post some pics tomorrow or Friday of the new interior.

 

I don't know about in the US, but in Japan you have the option of all red, or of red and black...

I would have thought that it would look okay all red with the black ..

 

Black with all red interior should look nice and mean, but I don't know about white with all red....I like black too, but afraid it would be hard to keep it clean.

Good choice on keeping the black car. There are way too many solver cars out there.
