Default Bought my first s2k yesterday.

I finally found the right s2000 for me. I was looking for a one owner car that was very well taken care of. No auction cars, no trade ins. I wanted black or silver, black interior. Less than 30k miles. No accident history. Well, I found a 2000, silver, black interior, 21kmiles, one owner (retired man who lives in PA and only drives the S when he's in florida for winters. He only sold the car because he's a Z enthusiast and bought the new Z roadster) Perfect find. He was asking 19,800 OBO, so I thought maybe the car might have some damage. Well, the car was perfect. No dings, ran like new, perfect. It needed 3 new tires (one was just replaced due to a blowout) so without even asking he knocked the price down to 19,200. Deal. I love this car. I've owned mustangs, rx7's, swapped out civic and absolutely nothing compares to this car. Of course, this one is much more expensive...but I truly love it. What a great weekend. Oh yeah, I proposed to my girlfriend in it about an hour after we bought it. Good times.

Welcome to the club, Keith. It sounds like you feel like most of us feel about our S2000's. It also sounds like you got a decent buy.

Enjoy your car,
Bob

Yeah and why does it say it's a MY01 when you said you bought a 2000?

Anyways, sounds like that was right up there as one of the best days of your life! It would have been for me.

Enjoy!

I had the MY01 and the black in there because that was the car I won on ebay, only to find out that the owner lied to me about it not being in an accident. Needless to say, I didn't buy that car and I found a much, much nicer one instead.
