For those of you new to the S2000, although the S2K is one of the most structurally rigid of the open cars sold to the public, you can make it better. I speak from experience. I have the RM Racing Strut Tower Brace

and the Spoon Front Lower Cross Brace. Heck of a combo. The Spoon definitely is the more dramatic improvement of the two.

Something to think about.

Having driven x-braced and non-x-braced cars back-to-back, I definitely concur. The difference is amazing.

I don't know if this has been discussed already but... I heard thad this kind of bracing, if only done on part of the car, like ex. only in the front, could cause the car to loosen up more than it would ordinarily in the area that is not braced. Did I say that right? Comments?

I concur too.

Any Strut Tower Brace will work, and the spoon x-bar is the one doing most of the stiffening. I like the comptech STB personally.

But you want both any STB and the spoon X bar, for that stock solid feel.

I agree with Cdelena's idea of a larger front sway bar. I think that will mitigate the rear end "twitchiness." I also put in the Spoon rear brace, but I'm not sure I have felt any effect from that addition.

I notice you have a front licence plate too. How does that effect the handling? Do you find it upsets the F/R weight balance?

Worst of it is that it is an ideal surface to reflect radar and laser. Also, bad aerodynamics. But, it's the law.
