Default Brake booster recall for 2006 / 2007 S2000

I've been trying to find a VIN range, but have been unable to do so. Anyone happen to have it?

Looking at NHTSA's website, seems like it hasn't been officially posted there yet. Should be posted in the next few days and will contain a VIN range or at least a manufacture date range.

I emailed Honda Australia over this issue, 17th June 2013.

Have just received the recall notification in the mail and booked my S in for 2 hours.

..." this service performed, which will be effected free of charge."

"Honda Motor Company apologise for any inconvenience that this recall may present, however, we trust you will understand that the recall has been undertaken in the interests of your safety and to uphold Honda's high standards."

Good on ya Honda!!!!

I have an 06 and there are times when I am driving the car hard and feel that it's hard to stop the car even with the pedal down pretty far. I think my car is definitely affected by this. I'm very anxious to get some more info on this recall...

I just talked to American Honda and, exactly as I suspected, they said my MY07 isn't affected by this recall. So I'm stuck with a brake pedal that I have to mash into the floor just to get any stopping power. New pads recently and new fluid and bleeding about 10k miles ago. Seems to be getting progressively worse. Looks like I'm stuck.

Hopefully my vehicle doesn't need this recall. Will have to call my local Honda dealership to see if I need it. The site shows that I currently do no need it.

Redwing, do you see your vin on http://owners.honda.com/service-maintenance/recalls
I don't see my car on there. Just want to know if I am okay or if they did not update the website yet.

No, mine is not listed on there either. Supposedly they may be still gathering VINs for the recall.
