Default Brakes And Rotors

Recently my front Brakes went out on my MY01. I am trying to find a good set of replacement pads and Rotors that have a little show to them. The reason why I would like a little show is because I am getting my stock wheels and calipers painted Gloss Black when I get my brakes and rotors changed. Does anyone recomend anything?

Also I heard that the RSX Type S uses the same brake calipers and rotors. If that is the case can I save money that way? Thanks John

I am interested in knowing if the RSX type S uses the same caplipers and rotors, I don't think the rotors are the same as the hub is a different size, but I could be wrong, definitely want to know about the calipers.

That is what I am interested in because I have been searching and to replace The Front And Rear with OEM rotors and pads I am looking at $665.00 front HTG. There has to be a cheaper route

Calipers and rotors are different. Anyway, there would be nothing to gain by using them even if they were interchangeable. If you're looking for some bling, slotted rotors are what I'd use. For pads, either OEM Honda or a good aftermarket ceramic would be good for street applications. On a higher budget, contact Brembo!

There is. I'm a NAPA whore, so here ya go: Front rotors part number 4886936, pay no more than $38 each. Rear rotors #4886935, pay no more than $31 each. Front pads # SS-7702-X, pay no more than $45. Rear pads # SS-7418A-X, pay no more than $34.

I have all the rotors on now. No problemo! I've had the rear pads on since last June when I did the rotors, no probs there either. Still on original front pads with 17K+ miles. The napa rotors have endured track abuse, as did a previous set of the el-cheapo napa rear pads with satisfactory results. For the dragon, my brakes will be ALL napa stuff. I don't anticipate any issues with them.

(Actually, the cheaper rear napa pads, ~$15, held up to more than two full track days!)

OK, the RSX has different calipers and rotors, but I have hear the Wilwood RSX BBK kit will fit the S2000 except the hub diameter is too small. If this is true (that it would fit) I have found a place online that has them for 698 or something shipped with lines, pads and all. I could take the hats to have the hub machined out the extra couple of mm needed. Any input is appreciated.
