Default Braking with the clutch?

Just wonder if you ALWAYS push the clutch in while braking? Would this in any way effect clutch wear?

Typically, I let the motor assist in braking until its at a point where it's going to stall.... it's at this moment I depress the clutch. Soooo, no I don't ride with the clutch down... it will only prematurely wear out the spring. Yes, I press it in when needed!
