Default "break in" done X 3!!

The break- in is over, finally!!
Having to do this 3 times in a year is extremely hard.
But, finally, she reached the magic 600.
The twisted part, as is my life, is that I was on my way to a midnight drag show with some friends in from Alaska.
Just as we got to the uptown/downtown? district, she rolled over. As luck would have it, it's Labor day Sunday and the cops were everywhere.
Just waited until we headed home and had some fun.
If I haven't said this before, I'll say it now. Damn, this car is fun!!
I feel so lucky to be here and to have 3XACHARM in my garage!!
Happy holidays everyone!

Congrats Lisa! I just broke mine in today. I think I cheated a little, by racing a Trans Am, at 550 miles on mine.
Hope I didn't let the community down

On a happier note, good luck with the car!

Confrats Lisa. I couldn't imagine trying to break in 3 cars. That would just be torture, especally after experiencing VTEC in the other cars. Happy vtecing.

Hey Lisa, remember to keep those headlights on! Otherwise you might be headed for a 4th break in period.

BTW, I'm in High Point, about an hour north.

Dave,
Hehe...yes I won! It was a late 80s Transam, that looked and sounded like it was modified. Anywho..I'm driving along 16 ave by C.O.P headed west bound when an old biker like guy pulls up beside me doing about 80KM/H. His lady looks over, smiles and then they speed away into the distance. I'm thinking "damn..only a few more kms till break in." As I approach the next set of lights, they are already there. The old lady is now grinning more than a Cheshire Cat. Mr. "T" as I shall call him, sits there revving his engine incessantly. The light changes, and I do a soft launch at about 2500rpms. I keep up with him all the way through first gear, and before 5000rpm in second I am beside him, myself, now grinning like a Chesire cat. By 7000rpm, I am about a car length in front of him. All the way to 140kmh and he is a mere speck in my rear view mirror. He looked a little disappointed, and I felt bad knowing I had taken my little car to 9000rpm. Boy what a feeling though. And geez..so much wind turbulence at 150kmh with the top down. I may just have to invest in your latest innovation

Wondering if you guys following the shift points recommended on the manual during the breakin period, my experience so far you have to rev it up to about 4000 to get the recommended speed for the shift points .. Appreciate any advise that comes this way ..
