Break Pad Advice Needed

I say waste of money unless going to a complete setup..larger rotors and better calipers are the only thing you will get you a good improvement over stock. The stock pads are just fine unless doing serious track duty. You might think about using Motul or ATE brake fluid if you do track the car.
You might want to not go with the cross drilled or slotted brake rotors. They are mostly bling factor unless you have exotic pads that outgas when extremely hot or have a need to reduce rotating mass in the wheel assembly. Some cross drilled/slotted rotors have a possibility of cracking due to stress risers generated by the machining process of drilling/slotting the rotor. I don't think the cracking of the rotor is epidemic or anything, but it does happen.

I am currently looking to replace my break pads and I am not sure what brand I should go with. My current stock break pads are worn down and need to be replaced. I was wondering if it would be in my benefit to go with an aftermarket break pad? or should I just stick with the stock ones? If I should go for a aftermarket pad what brand? I am also debating changing the stock rotors to a drilled and crossed aftermarket set. Good idea or waste of money?
If the car isn't tracked, and purely for street use then OEM pads are fine. If you're looking for more initial bite and you're getting fade, then a switch to a better pad and fluid is the right thing to do. Of course these types of pads create additional noise and dust that you might find objectionable. You really need to define what you're looking for in a pad in order for suggestions to be meaningful.
Axxis Ultimates are a compromise pad that might work in your application.
Cobalt GT-Sports are even more aggressive but still fine for street use and won't eat rotors.
The Stoptech Stage 2 kit combines the Axxis pads, slotted rotors, SS lines and Motul fluid for a whole lot less than the components separately.
As far as big brake kits go, while very nice to look at, they're completely unnecessary even for hard core track usage.
