I believe that you are going to need spacers to fit the brembo brake kit on a 16 inch wheel.

I have a friend who works for Brembo and the big brake kit "WILL NOT FIT STOCK 16's" More than likely my 17 Work Emotion's will need a spacer! I am actually looking into them doing a "one off kit" to work with my 16's because I really don't want to buy another set of 17's just for my track tires! Worst case scenario is buy the kit and save my pennies for a new set of track rims and tires!

The reason I am asking guys, is the opportunity for an insanely good deal on the kit has come my way (read: insane) so I wanted to see if this could be a possibility...

I guess not, since i wanted to keep the OEM wheels, but thanks guys.

If you track your cars, aftermarket braking systems are important. On the street, the stock will deliver as good or possibly better stopping distances.

Some people do not understand that pads make a big diff as well - I know some kids in the neighborhood here who come to see the Ol' Professor, and one kid had bought 'racing pads' just for the name, and the first time he went into traffic, almost rear-ended someone. I had to explain to him that when those pads are cold, they increase stopping distances compared to OEM - we switched them out for an a ggresive street pad.

The Brembo is certainly a fine system, but if I upgrade it will likely be StopTech - but if I can get a killer deal on the B's, who know's. As I recall, though. the Brembo's are black for the S2000 - I like the red on a Silverstone car.

Let us know how it works out, and of course, pics would be nice. Very nice.

thanks for the input RR!

So to lastly verify, there is really no way of getting the Brembo's to work on the Stock 16" wheels?
