Brian Crower NA Stage 2&3 camshafts
Any word on these guys? I have been searching left and right and see nothing but horrible stories with these for the FI guys. If anyone has them, and has had any luck with them I would really like to know. Thanks in advance!

nothing but problems... i had the Stage 2 on a NA motor with bad results... Stage 3 kits are also not doing too good....
i would skip the BC cams untill they actually test and figure out what they did wrong.

Sorry to hear man, I really wish they would do some testing. I'm finding it hard to believe that he would be willing to release a product without some type of dyno proven numbers in his favor. I was also wondering if the valvetrain indeed needed to be upgraded for the Stage 3 cams. I know it says you should..however, I know many people with Evo's that run there HKS 272's on the stock valvetrain and they also say that things should be upgraded. So, I was just curious to if it actually, no questions asked, needed to be upgraded..or just suggested.

I was present when 2nrwerks did the dyno testing for BC on the stage 3 cams ( missed the stage 2's, but saw the dyno's)...I won't tell you what I saw, but I will tell you that until BC decides to do something with that information, I won't be ordering a set anytime soon...

Thanks for the replies. Both of these cams were direct drop-in's as well correct? No cam gears needed, no piston to valve clearance issue, etc.? I hope for Brian's sake, he fixes his problem.

Because I was privy to vendor-shop testing information that was not intended to be viewed by the consumer, that's why.
I maintain a very good relationship with 2nrwerks, and only trust them when it comes to work on my car, as such, it's only fair for me to not disclose information that's not intended to be public. The dyno testing was done by 2nrwerks, for Brian Crower, as product testing to determine why the cams aren't producing the numbers they should. If they were dyno numbers that I saw from just a customer's car going in for a tune, I'd be blabbing about what I saw from one end of this forum to the other.

LagunaS2K, did you dyno it on your car by chance?
a friend of mine purchased a set from another vendor and i was doing his E-manage Ult tuning and he wanted me to tune it based on the cams. I had purchased mine but it was not installed...
