me and rusler have FO rails, and you said you had FG rails, which probably explains the difference.

I had ERGOIIs with RO rails and I've got an EXASIII with an FG rail on the way. But the stock belts mount to the rail the same way on all of them... maybe just in a slightly different position.

There's a nut welded into the rail and the stock bolt goes through it just like it would on the stock seats. All of the stock hardware is retained.

I'm not saying it WILL be less effective with washers, I'm just saying it COULD be less effective. That's why most tech inspectors are overly critical of modified or aftermarket restraints. I don't want to mess around with the design of the belt at all, since it could present a safety issue.

for the FO rails there is no nut welded onto the rail so it is different i guess. there is just a big hole where the stock buckle is suppose to go, and it is too big to screw the stock bolt in. this is probably why he doesn't just screw in the oem bolt with the washers.

Here's the nut I was talking about (circled in red in each pic)

With the RO rail all the stock stuff is retained. I just assumed it was the same with all of them. I guess I'll know about the FG for sure in a couple of weeks.

na i dont have the nut either. mine is bracket placed on the mounts.

are most of you running it through the hole in the seat or just running it over the thigh bolster?

artis iii's look nice CwestinAP1. how are the wings for the shoulder part that hugs u? do they rub against the door or the center door console?

dave22 where did u order your seat and rails? also how much? the seats are great. i wish i could of goten gradation, but im happy with the price. really comfortable seats. most of my friends commented how its really tight for them aroudn the thighs. since im not that big, its a perfect fit.
