A catalogue called Autosport sells a 40 mil plastic type material that seals against the lens to prevent the lens from breaking from flying gravel etc. It's 45 bucks, comes w/ 4yr/$1000 replacement guar. Anybody have an opinion on this or similar stuff?

Although I plan to use my Colgan bra for road trips, I am considering going StonGard on my headlights - do any of the rest you Austinites know where I can get it installed locally? I'm pretty handy but that's a job I don't want to do myself (it's more gratifying to be pissed at someone else than to feel like a total loser when you screw it up yourself).
