Thumbs up Buddy Club Coilovers

how far can you thread the perch out of the lower base and still have them remain structurally sound? Basically I want to get a lower drop without compromising anything. anyone have experience with this?

no pics but here is what i am referring to:

on the fronts...how far can you raise the perch out of the bottom seat....reason: so that I can lower the springs on the top and not interfere with the top A arm...why: to hopefully lower the car more than it is......goal: trying to get the front wheels to tuck with about 1 finger gap

I doubt there's anything you can do with the COs to make your rims tuck, Tim. If the offset isn't right, it's just not going to happen without quite a bit of camber. All compressing the spring is going to do is increse the springs tension. It's not going to effect camber.

Do your COs interfere with the A arm? That's not good. I've heard of it happening, but I've only got half a finger gap on my fronts and no interferance with the A arm at all. Maybe this is an issue with the US versions

Rob I don't mean tuck in via camber...my offset is 52 up front on my Works so they are good...i just meant tuck via 1 finger gap

you hit it on the nail...except for the taking it to the last thread part....i would at least leave 2 or 3 but seriously.....yes, I wondering how far i can go out and still be structurally sound

If I remember right to get the car to sit where I wanted and clear the A arm, I had to adjust the spring perch up and the shock thread down.
