Bumping because based off this post I bought 1156A bulbs for my MY01 AP1 rear turn signals and they were incorrect. Proper bulb was a 7507A.

Agreed, 7505 is correct for AP1 rear turn signals. The 1156 will work if you force them, but that is not idea.

Anyone know how to replace the anti-theft light by the parking brake? Mine no longer flashes when the car is locked.

Rear Turn Signal is actually BAU15S

Surprised no one else has attempted to post the right bulb in so much time.

This is for MY2003 S2000

Correct number is 7507. It is amber glass but bulb number doesn't have A.

7505 is not a valid bulb number. correct is 7507.

1156 or 1156A will not work. "Forcing" will break something. Pins spacing around the round bulb base is different, 1156 or 1156A will go in only if you cut off one pin.

Bulb or LED does have to be amber because the cover is clear.

So after 11 more years. BAU15S technically is the base type not the bulb type. bulb number also specifies color and watts.
7507 is base BAU15S, color amber, 21W

I was looking for rear turn signal LED for MY2000 and ran across this old thread.

One I found is

7507 (BAU15S) is the correct bulb for AP1 rear turn signals.

Interestingly enough AUDM, JDM, and EDM AP1 front turn signals are also 7507 and not 7440. North American AP1s use 7440 for front turn signals.

Another difference is that the countries with wider and narrower license plate lights have 2 instead of 1.

JS2K.com! carries LEDs for all year S2000s without having to figure out what bulbs fit where.

Similarly, for other cars, our sister site Supernova LEDs - Home page - Quality LEDs for your Car does the same thing for all cars. Pick your car and we will show you exactly what LEDs fit your car.

Our "stop lights" as they are posted are LED not 7443... if one goes out the whole assembly needs to be replaced. True or False? Unless I'm looking at stuff wrong.

The high (center) mount 3rd brake light yes is and led assembly. But in the tail lamp assembly is the red circle on with the headlights and brighter when the brake is applied. Those bulbs are 7443.
