After talking with a good friend of mine over at JUN, we began discussing a joint project involving a lightweight flywheel application for the S2000. Most of you that know Japanese parts will recognize the JUN name, they have consistently set world records for top speed runs, quarter mile runs, and lap times at major tracks in Japan. I dont think I need to explain any further to stress the point that this is indeed a special opportunity for all S2000 owners.

The question is, how many of you are as excited as I am?

Prior to my conversations with the President of JUN USA, they had no interest in making any parts for the S2000. After a little persuasion, this project became a possibility. I'd need an absolute minimum of 10 people in for a group buy, but I'm expecting more along the lines of 20+. Perhaps I have high expectations, but really who could pass up an opportunity for the best flywheel around (JUN) at Bulletproof Automotive pricing?

Here are a few facts about the JUN flywheels:

-one piece forged 100% chromoly
-200% stronger than OEM flywheels and are resistant to expansion and contraction caused by extreme heat
-will not warp or distort like aluminum flywheels

If you are still unfamiliar about JUN flywheels in particular, I suggest that you ask around. These products have a flawless reputation.

Well, feel free to post here with comments, or email me if you like.

Depending on how you all feel about this venture, it may or may not happen. I personally cant wait to get one of these on my car.

Okay. What is the savings in weight over the stock FW? Obviously, it spins up faster.

Yup....Now if you can get it to me in before Tuesday when my tranny goes back up into the car, I'd be a VERY happy camper.

The disadvantage is that it will void your warranty.
